With the monthly savings plan/auto-invest you save a further 0.5%. What happens if you cancel the savings plan after just one month, for example, i.e. stop the standing order with your bank? In that case, you would have received a further 0.5% discount and still only made a one-off payment. Why should you choose the single payment or "one-off" option without a discount if the savings plan is always cheaper? Does Relai subsequently demand a refund?

Your question about speed cannot be answered in general terms for several reasons. The processing time will also depend to a large extent on your receiving bank. Why shouldn't I also trade and deposit BTC or ETH with Swissquote or Yuh (yes, I know "not your key not your coin")? I also deposit cash and securities there and feel quite safe, why should it be any different with BTC?

I have just changed my mobile phone and since then I can no longer access my Relai account or Relai simply opens a new one. No, I had noted down the 12 words and even checked them exactly with the list of possible words and I only have Relai as a wallet as exactly these 12 words. Fortunately, I only have BTCs there in the 4th decimal place and moved everything to Swissquote before the switch (there is only a tiny amount left on Relai). I much prefer Swissquote and yes BTS does not puur the certificates. My securities account is also there and some cash too, so why shouldn't I have confidence? Of course there is a residual risk, but that is limited and I haven't parked 1000 BTC ;-). BTC is play money for me and I don't adhere to the phrase "Not your key..." or Warren Buffet's phrase "In and out empties your pockets", but only with BTC.

The fees are far too high. You are limited to CHF 1000 per 24 hours. The payout costs 1% of the amount with a discount code (!), i.e. over 10 CHF, and then it takes 3 days for the money to arrive. I am very disappointed.
Unfortunately, there is no reputable provider from Switzerland who would offer this at a lower price. 1% are very common even among international providers.
Furthermore, large international providers such as Binance constantly have problems with regulation and therefore payouts there are sometimes not possible at all. That would be the absolute worst case!
Personally, I therefore prefer Swiss Made.

Relai's offer is a good thing, but "... according to its own claims, represents the fastest access to Bitcoin." is not true in my opinion. The "PocketApp" (also made in Switzerland) is the much simpler method and saves the detour via an app → the purchased Bitcoin end up directly in the hardware wallet 🙂

Good question. Usually you encounter more 12 word seed phrases. But 9 words are already enormously hard to hack, especially compared to what we usually do/save/secure on our devices.

Have tried relai app times. Have after some transactions the feeling that they always offer you the sats at the absolute daily maximum prices. So, strictly speaking, the costs of a very bad course are added to the fee. The whole thing I find really intransparent and is so actually not recommended. Or am I wrong?

I have checked this and compared the rate in Relai in parallel with the rate on Finanzen.ch where it is updated every second. Have observed that it is updated in Relai in the purchase field not as often as in the comparison portal. Partly the rate was better and partly worse (5-6Eur which corresponds to the current rate of about 30,000Eur about 0.00016%).
Definitely the fees at Relai are too high for my taste to buy high amounts. For the first entry certainly top, but who is longer there should anyway deeper into the subject and also seek about a secure storage solution / wallet.

the fees are really not the cheapest. But the simplicity of access to Bitcoin. Especially at the beginning it can be very complex for newcomers to deal with a ledger and all the issues. To get some skin in the game, you can confidently with Relai. And who has then liked, we will certainly deal with alternatives in the long term.
