How does eBill work?
For this question, let's zoom out for a moment and look at an invoicing process from the outside.
When you receive a service, the service provider will probably want to bill you for it at some point. Let's say your health insurance company used to send you monthly payment slips. You received these by mail, checked them, and then paid them. A rather tedious, error-prone and costly process for all involved.
If you instead use e.g. the eBill function directly in the Zak app you enter your health insurance company once as eBill biller. If your health insurance company subsequently sends you an invoice, this will be processed via the SIX payment network. directly into your Zak account sent. There you can check the eBill invoice and pay it directly, or optionally set up automatic approval for future invoices.
