From all your entrepreneurial experience, what 3 factors would you give founders today?

1. starting instead of waitingmost of them are paralyzed by the many things they have to do. Just get started, nothing is perfect. And it's best to try out as much as possible for a few years as a sideline, otherwise it usually doesn't work out.
2. it is never too latesomeone who's telling you it's too late has no idea. Where a will also has a way. I would especially look at the fact that you build your business somehow or somewhere online. The possibilities are endless.
3. nothing works without hard work, smart must of course also be worked. Even in 2019 or even 100 years ago. Nobody takes the work off your hands; at that time I worked 20 hours a week on my own projects in addition to my full-time job.

You read a lot and would like to read 52 financial books this year alone. If from now on you were allowed to keep only one financial book and read it over and over again, which one would it be and why?

Cash flow quadrantBecause it teaches important basics about finance that unfortunately are not taught at school. Also you also learn a lot when you are already further along, I recently read the book for the second time and was able to take a lot of new things with me.

Where do you see Sparkojote in 5 years, is there a vision you can share with us?

Phew Hard to say. I think right where I'm standing right now, I just keep thinking. I like the way things are going, I'm privileged to be living the life of my dreams. I'm grateful for that and keep working hard.

Suppose a friend of yours is new to finance and wants to invest. What would you advise him currently?

Reading books, watching YouTube videos, reading a blog, and generally getting further education. Nobody takes that away from you and no course in the world can replace experience and learning by Doing.

What 3 golden nuggets from your Swiss finance blog would you give him as tips?

  1. Long-term thinking and not be out for a quick buck.
  2. Invest only Money, into what you really understand.
