3. Hosting and server logs

5. services with data transmission to third parties

With the exception of the cookie-free analytics service Plausible, the following services are only activated once you have given your consent via the cookie banner. No further data will be transferred without your consent.

Plausible analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to measure our website’s reach. This also allows us to see how often forms and calculators are used, without linking this to individual users. Plausible is a privacy-friendly analytics service that operates entirely without cookies and does not store any personal data. No persistent identifiers are created, nor are user profiles established. All data is processed exclusively on servers within the EU. The tracking script is delivered via our own domain for technical optimisation. As no personal data is processed, no consent is required for the use of Plausible Analytics. Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram)

We run adverts on Facebook and Instagram. To measure the success of these adverts, we use the Meta Pixel on selected pages. It tracks whether, after clicking on an advert, you visit our site and, for example, sign up for the newsletter. In doing so, cookies are set and usage data – such as the page visited, the time of visit and technical device information – is transmitted to Meta. Meta may associate this data with your Facebook or Instagram account and use it for its own purposes. The Meta Pixel is only loaded if you have consented to marketing cookies in the cookie banner. Customer lists on Meta (Custom Audiences)

To ensure that people who already receive our newsletter do not see our adverts again, where possible, we may pass on our subscribers’ email addresses to Meta. The addresses are encrypted (hashed) on your device or in our system before being transmitted. Meta matches them against existing accounts, uses them solely for this purpose and deletes them after the matching process. The legal basis for this is our legitimate interest in not showing you unnecessary adverts and in using our advertising budget effectively (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). You may object to this processing at any time by emailing info@schwiizerfranke.com.

Fonts

All fonts used on this website are served locally from our own server. When a page is loaded, no connection is established with Google’s servers or those of other providers, and no data is transmitted to third parties.

YouTube (embedded videos)

We embed YouTube videos on some pages. A placeholder is displayed before you give your consent. Cookies may be set during playback. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd, Ireland.

6 Embedded tools and calculators

On our website, we offer various financial calculators and interactive tools. The privacy provisions set out in this statement apply to all these tools. Consent given or withheld via the cookie banner also applies to embedded content.

7th Newsletter

We use the following to send out our «Wealth Letter» and our accompanying emails: Kit (formerly ConvertKit). Registration is via double opt-in: you will only be added to the list once you have clicked the link in the confirmation email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every email.

What data we store:

  • your email address and, if provided, your first name
  • The date of registration and confirmation, and the form you used to register
  • If you sign up via one of our adverts, the campaign origin: source, campaign, target audience and advert (so-called UTM parameters, e.g. «meta» and the name of the advert). This information comes from the link you used to reach our site. It does not contain any further data about you
  • whether and when you open our emails, and which links you click on in them

What we use this data for: To send you the newsletter and the content you have requested, to understand what content is useful to our readers, and to measure which of our adverts reach people who actually read the newsletter. The analysis is carried out in aggregate form per campaign or advert, not to assess individual people.

Legal basis: your consent upon registration (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR / Article 31 of the DSG) and, for the purpose of measuring performance, our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).

Storage: We will store your data for as long as you subscribe to the newsletter. Once you have unsubscribed, we will retain your email address and proof of your consent for as long as we are legally required to do so. We will delete your data in full upon request.

Provider: Kit Inc. (formerly ConvertKit LLC), USA. Data transfers are carried out in accordance with the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

8. comments

If you leave a comment, we will save your message, your name, your e-mail address and the IP address to prevent misuse. Your e-mail address will not be published.

9. affiliate links

We use affiliate links, which are marked with an asterisk (*). If you make a purchase via such a link, we may receive a commission. There are no additional costs for you. Affiliate partners may set their own tracking cookies, which are only activated once you have given your consent.

When using services such as Google, Meta or Kit, data may be transferred to the USA. All providers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses. Plausible Analytics processes data exclusively within the EU.
