Hello everybody
Thank you for the overview. The following films should still be included:
- Money never sleeps (with Michael Douglas -> sequel to Wall Street)
- The Bank - Unscrupulous and obsessed with power: A mathematician develops an algorithm based on fractals to predict price movements on the stock market. In doing so, he takes revenge on the bank that bankrupted his father.
- Bad Banks (2 seasons of 6 episodes): Drama between a young investment banker and her colleagues and superiors with reference to the banking crisis and government bailouts. An excellent cast, especially Désirée Nosbusch as an ice-cold banker who uses manipulation and secret service methods to con her way onto the bank's board.
- High Speed Money (true background) : Young stockbroker Nick Leeson drives Barings Bank into bankruptcy.
- EXIT (3 seasons; true background): Norwegian drama about four investment bankers who do far worse in their private lives than in Wolf of Wall Street.
Thank you so much for your addition, Stefan! 🙂
Dear Netflix
I can't see some of the movies listed on the website
I cant see the following titles
The Informant
The Big short
Money Laundering
Margin Call
Great Gatsby
I see it as an honour that my blog appears as Netflix to you 😀
Hello everybody
Great idea and a good selection, especially the top 2 and of course Wall Street 😊. I found the hunt for the crypto king even more impressive - for the crypto-savvy.
Greetings, Martin
I'll throw the documentary Cityboy - Secrets of Investment Bankers exposed into the ring here
Sorry but Social Network is not a financial film...
Hello Steven,
that's right. More of a startup movie, which became a multi-billion dollar company.
Do you have an alternative?
